Then the plumpness butts up against the earlobe and obscures it to give an illusion of attachment. You can look for profile pics to check. Men do get necklifts for turkey neck. The giveaway is a little scar right behind the bone of the chin, underside where there is a natural hollow, that can show for months.

edit: watching his presser where something big falls and he completely turns his head to his left--the right lobe does look attatched, the left one not.
