Hmm, not sure why my previous comment isn't showing up here despite showing up in my comment history... but I'll repeat for those who didn't see it as it's helpful:

Rumble Full Screen "Exploit"

Wanna know a Rumble secret I discovered to get video to play without the screen being on?

The problem: I think Rumble uses some poor CPU-intensive decoding or playback protocol, and it causes my iPhone's battery to drain at an alarming rate whenever I watch video on Rumble. It's worse than YouTube.

The solution: I figured out a while ago that you can start the video from its specific page (click the video link from the user feed), press the icon to go full-screen, then press again to go back out of full screen and when you do this you can turn your phone's screen off and the video will keep playing.

Although sometimes the video will stop and it means the app has been killed by the system process manager and you'll have to start it up again so it may be a little wonky. I'd be interested in feedback to see if this worked for anyone else!
