Out of Shadows was my intro. To be honest, I do not remember how I got to Q from there. I think it was a piece in American Thinker that was a follow up to a previous article that they had run about Q. The follow up mentioned the fact after the initial article ran, that their server was attacked and that that had never happened before. It peaked my interest to read the original article to see what was so 'bad about it. I somehow found the old qmap site and started to read. They used to link to the threads on the chans and I read those as well. Took about a month.
Around the same time was when a friend of mine sent me a YT link on the success some doctors in Bakersfield were having on CV treatment but it went against the official narratives. YT had blocked it, but this was a piece a local news station had done. I do not think it was a coincidence that a couple of days prior, Schiff had bragged about his letter to Big Tech to request their assistance with weeding out false CV info. False info? It was an interview with two doctors on a news station. At that point, I was in with that it was not about the virus, but the election.
