Just the opposite - I am also suggesting,that we are doing this job working as support of people doing most important part of the job. What's the difference ?
1.We are not meant to rescue the kids ourselves directly (in most cases at least, if I would have a chance I would try to do whatever will be needed) - military does the job. 2. We research for a reason too. Reason is to get info and spread it to help those action of military - having purpose we support.
Therefore - don't claim "I am researcher and not a soldier". You are not here as individual only. We are all in this fam. We need some self discipline like a soldiers.We have to cooperate. It is not about only you or about me,or about anybody else as alone individual - we are together in this.So you are too soldier of Q and of those kids fam.We all are it seems. It is not the game.It is responsibility. Whatever will happen - we cannot fail.
