Considering your God never set out the parameters for Abortions Bad since his book landed before abortions were really a thing, it's funny that Christians put their own morality onto what "God" said.

"He" said every life is precious. If you believe that, then you believe that science should advance medicine with the assistance of whatever it can, to save lives. A life being immortalized as a cell line is turning misfortune into fortune. It's the epitome of preciousness.

It's contributing to the greater good out of a situation that was not so good. Every life is precious - yes, the 36 year old aborted fetus cell's "life" is precious. It's preciously helped to create medicines that have saved many others lives.

It's literally what he did to Jesus. He literally sacrificed his son so that everyone's sins were forgiven. He let his SON DIE for the greater good. I guess you all skipped that in morality class huh?

The donors of the cell material that created many of the cell lines have saved so many lives. Their contribution is far more precious than many people who have lived an earthly life.

Your view is just so short sighted and based on a modern sense of morality rather than a spiritual one. It's a complete misinterpretation of what was said by God, in order to be used as a cudgel to beat over the head people who's circumstances you disagree with.

Every life is precious, but why does it have to mean this earthly existence? I'm pretty sure that's not what Skyhomie was saying.
