Thats a tradition I began when my first grandchild was born. Every Christmas, birthday, baptism, first communion, Easter, Halloween, graduation, they all get a couple silver rounds in addition to whatever my wife gives them. Now the entire family does it. My grandkids, grandnieces and grandnephews will all have a nice stash once they graduate HS. I give nearly 100 ounces a year as gifts to my family.

My hope is it leads to a lifetime of wise investment in precious metals. If you buy small amounts per purchase over the decades it turns into a substantial savings.
