But are we sure it is going the way we think? I really hope so. I read this on the Greatawakening.win.

"Thesis: the hedgies are synthetically short, something you don't comprehend is different than a traditional short position... Which means they sold ape expensive, covered OTM Calls which are going to expire worthless making them a fortune, and all their current "losses" are only paper losses which will reverse as they get closer to expiration...

If you contemplate covered calls, you'll see what they're doing: 1) collecting huge options premiums by being "synthetically short" and selling expensive calls that are going to expire worthless 2) trying to keep the shares somewhat stable at these elevated levels so their share-covered position doesn't lose value.

** I bet RoaringKitty is doing this (selling covered calls on his shares), which is why he isn't selling."

I'm not an ape with many wrinkles when it comes to finance. Any thoughts?
