Deaf guy here. Obviously, I cannot hear but I had experiences with the unexplained. I've seen a few over my lifetime but I had a physical encounter for the first time 2 years ago.

My grandfather passed away from a stroke, and my mother didn't notify me for over a month. We didn't have a close relationship, so she didn't even think to tell me.

One evening, I stood in my bathroom and leaned back against the sink, and scrolled on T_D or whatever I was doing on my phone.

There was a soft tap on the top of my phone. It was strong enough that it bent my wrist down a little. I thought that was odd, but brushed it off almost immediately.

No less than 10 seconds later, the top of my phone got pressed down hard. It nearly flipped out of the palm of my hand before I caught it. That definitely got my attention. "Okay..", I thought to myself, "something needs attention right now.."

I re-activated my Facebook account and the first post on my feed was a status post from my Aunt saying how much she misses her Dad.

As soon as I figured out Grandpa died, I knew right away who tapped on the top part of my phone. My Grandpa in spirit must not have been pleased that I knew nothing about his death for little over a month.
