I was at a clinic one day just waiting for my yearly check up. There were these two older women, probably mother and daughter just chatting away on the most random stuff.

Then one of them decided to watch some vids on the YouTube, some horrid lib talk show — you can always tell by the tone and inflection of the hosts, the constant issuance of non-substance platitude. Then the subject of Tom Hanks came up, it was about him hosting some Hollywood award show or something. I was fine till then… but the two ladies started…

“Tom Hanks is going to emcee the show”

“Oh that’s awesome, I just love him… he’s such a kind and loving man”

There I was thinking — when the darkness is brought to light, these two will have the worst wake up call of their lives, OR they will be in constant denial.

Either way, I felt just a little sad for them.

And I felt lucky I am Awakened!
