1. What is Dunning-Kruger?

2. The deceased took a stand and died for it. It was a stand different from ours, but he died for it. If you believe in something so much that you are willing to die for it, then I agree with the OP's headline..."it's not really a bad thing." But if OP is saying it's not really a bad thing that someone who thinks differently from us died for it...well I distance myself from that. Someone has to keep the stiff upper lip...take the higher ground...find ways to unite rather than divide. JMO
