Funny, I've seen several interviews before the Symposium and not once did any of the "journalists" even think to ask ML where he obtained this information and from who he obtained it. They also never asked why someone in possession of data that would literally shake our country to its foundation would think the "MyPillow guy" is who will know what to do with it.

When what can be revealed once this movie is over is available - looking back at all these things like the symposium, ML's notes while waiting outside the WH, the Buyden "Inauguration", the Nancy "Don't say anything" video, etc. It'll be like re-watching "The SIxth Sense" - everything will be so obvious once you know the actual outcome of the movie.

My theory: The symposium was a Honey-pot. ML was chosen for this role because he's seen as a lovable goofball and his reputation wont be ruined by "not producing the goods" as promised at the symposium.
