Not a big deal. The running theory is that these viral hoaxes are DS (or other enemy) misinformation that can serve a lot of different purposes.

• Fearmongering
• Reinforce hatred and fear of muslims/Afghanis, so that the DS can later call us racists and do tyranny.
• Prime us for wars by dehumanizing a group of people by conditioning us that this group kills people like us.
• Even if it gets debunked, the psychological effect is either the fear of muslims stays, or its replaced with a shame of fearing muslims . Both are destructive and things the DS can use to manipulate us and narratives. Its an anchor bias. One that they "project" onto us.
• When debunked, makes the right look less credible and reinforces the shame psychology and alienates the people that would fear Islam.
• They can also use all of this to demand censorship of the people, over problems they created with their own viral lies.

Its crazy how messed up these people are.
