Thanks all for the responses. There were many interesting takes, many enlightening personal experiences with COVID. I think, if there's been anything by way of consensus, it's that most folk tend to skew towards sensibly allowing natural processes to take their course but that it's very much situation-dependent

There wasn't as much outright denial of COVIDs existence as I had anticipated, just that it hasn't been isolated and that the tests are unreliable (to say the least). The individual experiences with COVID were really quite broad, from propertyofUniverses fairly harrowing year to wQkeAFs casual brush-off and lot's in between, but we knew it would have varying degrees of severity.

Most folk don't seem to have any strong moral stances on taking these types of drugs for this type of thing, instead deferring judgments of that sort to the decision-maker.

I particularly chimed with LawDoc and TheConservatonists submissions as more reflective of my own thoughts on the matter.

I disagree with tobeselfevident that these questions ought never have been asked, but appreciate that he engaged thoughtfully with it nonetheless. I think it has been an entirely worthy and insightful post.

Most folk avoided any personal attacks on Joes character and I'm glad to say that most (perhaps even all) engaged with the questions in good faith and provided thoughtful responses and even provided some potential further avenues for exploration (parasite theory).

Thanks to all who responded and to the mods for the sticky
