yeah I know it wasn't perfect & probably could go back further in time, but I'm sure most would agree the 80s with Reagan was one of the last times that seemed 'normal' & the 70s in the midwest was pretty simple, and still had a lot of people untainted by MSM...stores closed on Sunday, etc.
