Russia is a nationalist pesudo-empire, and behaves like one. Kinda like is anybody surprise Putin's party wins EVERY election in Russia. Their voting is a farce and everybody knows it.
Though make no mistake Putin is not America's friend, he cares about Russia first and foremost. At this point he will make sure every move he makes undermines the Western socialists while benefitting his Russia. But he is not the America's enemy either, no matter how much the socialists want a war with him.
The fact that Trump was going to use diplomacy and his art of the deal to end the completely pointless fake cold war that Obama started with Putin was one of the primary reasons I voted for him. The socialists are insane, they WANT WW3, because they think they can use it do a power grab and think Putin is an easy push over paper tiger and can't seem to understand its not 1992 in Russia anymore.
