As a former resident, I find it really surprising that so many are complying, New Orleans has (or had, perhaps) a very independent and unique spirit. Laissez les bon temps rouler doesn't have much in common with "show me your papers, you dirty antivaxxer". Sad to hear, it is the last place I think would bend to authoritarianism so easily. But there are a lot of commie pantifa vax-enforcers there. I doubt the bayou boys and gals in rest of the state are as compliant.
