Yes, however, what happened was the assistant director (AD) took a gun from the armorer's cart and gave it to Baldwin. The AD broke the required chain of custody. Two things might have happened: 1) the revolver perhaps came from the armorer's personal collection and was still loaded, with armorer's intent to load with blanks before use, or 2) the AD actually loaded live ammo before giving the gun to Baldwin, to set him up. (Unlikely because it would be obvious that the AD did that for no good reason). Further - to anyone who knows anything about guns, it would have been ABSOLUTELY obvious that there were bullets visible at the front of the revolver cylinder, and not blanks. It's not like an automatic where the ammo is hidden in the chamber or magazine.

It all comes down to the AD being at fault. And he will be charged with accessory to negligent homicide. In the best case, he is an incompetent moron, and in the worst case he set Baldwin up perhaps in revenge for the crew situation. Liberals are crazy enough to do that kind of shit even to their own.
