My father used to call certain people "educated idiots". I always thought it an oxymoron. much like "civil war". But today I see both of those terms in a different light. They are not contradictory as I once thought.

Prior to Covid, I had much respect for most of the doctors I knew, thinking them to be competent, rational, well informed and intuitive in diagnosing and treating illness. Today, my opinion of these same people is drastically different. Covid was a watershed event unlike any I've encountered in the past. It presented itself first as an illness that morphed into a weapon, One that has divided the country into warring factions including doctors against patients. Experiencing this has opened my eyes where before they were closed.

These same medical professionals who I once respected have neglected to look at the real data and question the protocols they have adopted in the face of clinical evidence contradicting what they've been told. They have in large part remained silent at a time when their voice was needed the most. They've deferred to others when they should have stood up for their patients and protected them from the harm they pledged not to do when reciting the Hippocratic oath.

They became the educated idiots my father spoke of. They allowed themselves to be used as tools to deceive people who trusted them. In so doing the medical profession is under a cloud of their own making. It's one of many clouds we can clearly see today. Political cloud, media cloud, technology cloud, financial cloud and so many more. Yes, even a religious cloud. It truly reflects the "civil war" that is happening in front of us. A storm of biblical proportion is starting to swirl around us all. Burying our head in the ground won't solve it. Pretending it will all just go away won't solve it. Hoping people just see the light won't solve it.

The only thing I can put my faith in is God. Not religion, just God. Man is failing in not seeking light over darkness, truth over lies, goodness over evil. We cannot rely on the systems we put in place to protect us. We cannot trust those who we put in charge of keeping life sacred, keeping us innocent and unblemished, keeping our young safe from harm and giving us the information we need to conduct ourselves in a manner befitting of God's blessings. In short we have relied too heavily on man and now see the failings clearly.

I can only pray that God will do something that stops everyone in their tracks and puts us back on the right path. I'm not smart enough to know what needs done, only that man alone will not have the ability to do it without divine intervention. In God We MUST Trust. I understand that more now than ever before.
