Why do people who have been vaccinated still have to wear a mask?

It bears mention

If you DON'T have a communicable respiratory disease, you don't need to wear a mask. Because any aerosolized virus particles floating around from others GO RIGHT THROUGH AND AROUND THE EDGES of the mask. When you inhale them, your natural immune system takes over and disposes of them.

If you DO have a communicable respiratory disease, you don't need to wear a mask. Because your breath GOES RIGHT THROUGH AND AROUND THE EDGES of the mask, along with aerosolized microbes. Not one shred of evidence supports the bizarre notion of wearing a loose-fitting, thin, flimsy piece of cloth over the nose and mouth at all times to prevent viral transmission.

Wonder if that's why it says on every box of masks that the product does nothing to block viral transmission, particularly of covid-19. Because the mfgr doesn't want to be liable for paying enormous damages when it doesn't block anything.
