Heh, yep I just saw your link in other comment and just read the page! It's right on. And a good lifelong friend of mine, I eventually figured out is a narcissist and eventually had to tell him to fuck off, permanently. This read fits things to a tee and describes stuff better than most sites I've found on narcissism actually.

Edit: And, in fact, people's observations about Scott - if he's right it's because he's smart, if he's wrong it was bad luck... holy cow, with my friend, it was always "I'm such a great person" "but you did this" "you are a bad person for not tolerating my faults" etc etc etc etc etc etc etc (we had way too many of these fucking conversations I can tell you!).
