My gut instinct is to agree with you, but I think it’s a good point on the other side, too. I mean half of what we talked about here is “waking people up“ not sure what it would accomplish if you take thousands, maybe millions of people who could be swayed to our viewpoint and just piss them off. I mean the point of the protest is to draw attention to our cause. Turning people off from that cause is counterproductive by definition, no? I mean what are you doing it for? You’re not doing it to purposely make people angry, you’re doing it to show them our point of view and to let them know how serious we are. Right? So accomplishing absolutely none of that, and in fact making it worse, accomplishes… What?

All that said, I feel where you’re coming from. I’m tired of playing defense. I’m tired of worrying about optics and what other people think. I’m just sick of it. I kind of do just wanna piss off millions of people because, frankly, fuck them. Where have they been?
