John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives."

The world only knows how to give peace in the sense of "the removal of conflict", but that will never happen - because we each have conflict within us.

The peace that Jesus offers (and promises) is the peace that comes directly in the middle of conflict. It comforts us, because we know that no one can take it away -- all we have to do is accept it.

The peace that comes from God is an 'absence of mental anxiety'.

Peace to you, frens.
