Yeah, lemme see what I can dig up. There's two interviews that come to mind. One is from the early 90s, and I want to say A. Badalamenti (sp?) Is also in that interview/show.

The second is a professionally shot interview (almost like a mini documentary) with Lynch from circa 2014 just before the new Twin Peaks series aired. In that interview he goes into detail about how he is "black-balled/listed" due to his personal opinions on a variety of topics, including politics. But, I do recall him stressing that the negative treatment from the industry had to do mostly with the fact that he refused to capitulate with "wokeism" and political correctness dating back to the 80s.

I really rather enjoy when figures such as Lynch come out as conservative or libertarian leaning. Why? Because the leftie hipster types absolutely hate the fact anything "indie" and "cool" they themselves like is in fact created by their enemy. Another great example is Stephen Malkmus (Pavement, Silver Jews, Kicks, etc). He is a very outspoken isolationist & conservative. Left-tard NPCs can't fathom how Marc Maron & David Crosses favorite guitarist/songwriter is a staunch conservative.

And there's more or course. Zappa, Ian Curtis, Dean & Britta, and many more that Im failing to remember. Always remind NPCs that conservatism is the new punk rock.
