Yeah, take it from a former EOD tech, 1) that bomb is Soviet era. I'm almost positive Russia doesn't have any Soviet era munitions. Most would've gone inert by now. 2) the metal used is non-frangible, meaning it doesn't creat a spark. Even our tools won't create a spark. This is standard across ALL militaries since before WWII. 3) you don't pour water on a cracked bomb. Ever. 4) the nose fuse is an impact fuse. He touched one of the probes when backing it out and I saw it depress. If that bomb was real, both those two men and the person recording would've been vaporized. 5) looks to me like a training bomb we use to teach other nations how to properly defuse a dud. 6) the bomb casing is cracked, which means it's leaking explosives. PPE would be required in this case, and possibly a robot. Not to mention a blast suit and PPE for his hands. The explosives used today are highly caustic to human skin and mucus membranes. The fumes alone will strip the lung/throat linings. Also, only an idiot would attempt this without the proper equipment. And if we have Spec Ops troops training these Nazi battalions, our guys would've gone over there with ALL the wuipment needed. 7) looks like that bomb has been sitting there for years, exposed to the elements. It's rusted. I'm surprised they were able to back out that fuse. Judging by the corrosion on the bomb casing, I'm surprised they were able to decouple the fuse. It should've been fused from corrosion. Which is why, we usually clear the are and rig for detonation without touching anything that could set it off. 8) most bombs used today, even by China, Russia, N. Korea, etc, use a thermobaric coating. This helps keep heat at bay. A non coated bomb sitting in the sun for years would've detonated just from the sun's radiation/heat in summer time. If not, it would hasten the explosive material's degradation and would become inert relatively quickly. Even in Ukraine, temps in summer routinely hit the 90's. This would definitely create problems.

So, in my no longer professional estimation, this video is either fake, made for disposal training (highly unlikely due to the unprofessional aspects in this vid), or this bomb has Nazi scribblings all over it and that's why it was covered up, someone noticed and questioned it, possibly a media lackey, and they decided to put on a show.

Whichever it is, this is FAKE AS FUCK. If those guys really are U.S. trained (which I highly doubt) they won't last long.
