Others are pointing out people like Soros, but I have an additional (supplementary) theory to add.

It’s theorized that people who are abused are more likely to become abusers. It’s a challenged theory, but it has some merit.

If a wrong was done to you, then as a matter of survival instinct, you may seek to gain the same position of power that was used against you, to make sure it can’t happen to you.

Not just abuse either, but any negative experience. If you grow up poor, you may be especially motivated to gain high paying employment or start your own business, to make sure you are on the other side of the equation.

I suspect it’s entirely possible that some (not all, not most, but some) Jews of that generation are particularly motivated to gain the same power that was used against them, to ensure it can’t be used against them again.

Just a theory, that of course we’re not allowed to discuss, because any questioning whatsoever is anti-Semitic.
