I still have my browser history with the various shenanigans around the domain steals, host deplatforming and DDOS attacks from 2020 against what was 8chan, and what became 8kun after renaming, relaunch and many hosts and domains later. Many or even all of these attacks were seemingly initiated by (and certainly encouraged) by Fredrick Brennan aka 'hotwheels' who was at one time a system admin for 8chan and who appears to hold strong negative feeling about the Watkins, father and son.

Being a guy that decided to throw himself into the limelight again apropos nothing had lots of people speculating that hotwheels was being bribed, blackmailed or simply threatened into taking these actions. And its also quite telling that so much evidence of criminal activity he posted to public twitter (and even disclosed in interviews he did with all the fake-news eager for anyone taking shots at the dastardly 'qanon') merited no action taken. Which again made him look like an asset working for deepstate actors, like Ray Eps, like antifa, like John Sullivan.. and many other examples.
Getting a good discussion going sooner rather than later is good since I'm sure all the details will only get rustier over time.
