Actually another interesting angle that I just now realized, is how the video creator posits that perhaps the entire thing just happened in the mind of Mel Gibson's character, that the movie was a wholly mental, inward struggle but metaphorically speaking... BUT consider this instead... Perhaps what happened to Mel Gibson's character LITERALLY happened in the movie? It was a trial to overcome inward, psychological demons, spiritual warfare, BUT accomplishing this via a literal, physical experience...
