Yankee Doodle Dandy is the original 'All Your Memes'. It was a British song sung at the stupid rag tag Americans. Yankee was the derogatory term they used. Doodle meaning dumb. A dandy in those days was what the British called sodomites. Macaroni was the term they used to describe these dandies who preferred fancy dress:

"Such a figure, essenced and perfumed, with a bunch of lace sticking out under its chin, puzzles the common passenger to determine the thing’s sex,” Town and Country declared of the macaronis in 1772. “And many a time an honest laboring porter has said, ‘By your leave, madam,’ without intending to give offense."

The macaronies wore the tallest white wig possible sometimes with a tiny top hat. They were basically calling Americans raggedly dressed homos who were so poor and stupid they thought a feather in their cap was the height of fashion.

And then they started to lose to those stupid raggedy faggots. Before long the Americans changed the lyrics and began to sing it back at the retreating humiliated British.

Very patriotic of you, and one would expect nothing less than an 'All Your Memes' response from someone on this board!
