dr schols freeze off wart remover. get the one with the Q-tip applicator.

DO NOT buy the version with the METAL TIP APPLICATOR.

metal tip applicators work way too good, and its VERY easy to burn away so much skin, that it causes a blister, that opens, and causes an open sore. do DO NOT want thats to happen, so avoid metal tip!

only use the Q-tip applicator. its much safer, and much harder to cause excessive damage.

use a sharpie marker, to color the skin tag, so you can see it clearly.

use an ice pack, to pre-cool the entire area around the tag, and deep-cool into the skin, and muscle, and blood vessels below the skin tag.

after a minute or so, prepare the dr schols applicator, per directions on the box.

remove the ice pack, and immediately apply the (very cold) applicator tip to the skin tag.

use the applicator tip to push the skin tag down into the skin.

try to get a white ring in the skin around the skin tag, but most importantly, the skin UNDER the skin tag.

do not simply aim to get the skin tag itself frozen, but you want the skin UNDER the skin take to be frozen,

so that your skin will die and slough off, to below the skin surface.

if you only freeze the tag, there may still be a stump left that survived the freeze.

its generally better to over-freeze, than to under-freeze,

or else you will be repeating the process several times, instead of getting it right the first time.

since skin tags tend to appear in areas of skin friction, you may want to wear a band-aid over the skin tag for the next 14 days, as the skin heals itself.

i prefer this method, to a scalpel, because you don't actually open the skin, or cause bleeding, or infections, or other complications.

you don't under-cut, or over-cut.

your skin heals perfectly flat every time.

its discolored for a while, but eventually that discoloration fades away.
