I retired early from my job of 38 freaking years because I knew this was total BS! I worked in the operating room and we were told we had to keep our “questionably C-19 positive” intubated patients anesthetized an additional 40 minutes due to aerosolization! Not that they’re not sick enough, let’s add an extra 40 minutes of anesthesia to their already stressed bodies. I knew if I didn’t retire that I would be fired. I so wish I could have been a whistleblower nurse!! I would have been in a heartbeat!
