There are many causes of illness.

The first concept to wrap your head around is that "illness" or "disease" most of the time is a detoxing process. We don't just "get sick." We have specific symptoms: coughing, headache, fever, runny nose, enlarged lymph nodes, rash, outbreak of skin, trouble breathing, etc. Most of the time, this is the body detoxing, trying to regain health. The question is: What caused the toxic condition? The answer can vary from person to person, but the primary causes of most toxic conditions are: poor nutrition, poor sanitation, poor hygene, and poisons (environmental, generally, or those that we come into physical contact with).

The second concept to wrap your head around is that "what caused the vector of transmission" is the wrong perspective. There is no vector of transmission. There is no transmission. No "virus" has ever been proven to transmit illness from one person to another. NEVER. These illnesses are not transmissible. They are ALL individual conditions, even though it often looks like transmission.

If a group of women live together, they are likely to start synchronizing their periods. Did they transmit that to the others? No. There are "transmission signals" that are not physical, and that are not understood -- because nobody is studying them. We just all shrug our shoulders, rather than trying to figure it out. That's because we have "muh virus" to blame everything on.

The following link a LONG video, but worth the time. It discusses many of the causes of toxic conditions in the body, and provides a lot of evidence that explains why people get sick, including the famous ones, such as Spansh Flu, Polio and others:
