If President Trump were to get back into office after next January he could legally run for President again in 2024.

That would give him 10 years as President which is the Max anyone is allowed.

I still think that is the plan. It sucks right now but if I am right about this President Trump would be President for 10 full years instead of 8 if they followed the law and did not cheat.

If President Trump were to get back in before Jan 2023 he could not legally run for President in 2024 because the extra 4 years would make him President for more than 10 years. Changing the law so he could run would not be good optics.
