So in a word, yes. We'd see a slice of it (the 4D "Demon"). A flicker. One odd frame of our ~60 fps vision. Heh.
But also, that need not be so. If it can exist in 4D and it's some sort of powerful being, perhaps it can "express" itself in some semi-durable way in 3D. Folks who do the Alex Jones and say "Interdimensional Goblins" thing get criticized, of course, but the "Inter" part is for me the important part. Perhaps an entity evolved enough to live in "more than 3D" has achieved a mastery of dimensions such that it can express itself in another dimension.
Think of "the burning bush". Was the burning bush Yahweh? Well, of course not. It was a way of connecting with a 3D being.
EDIT: I should add one of my favorites. "Flatland" is a book about a 2D entity encountering a 3D entity. I highly recommend it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatland
