Finding myself grappling with new levels of dissonance and directional focus these recent days.

This tends to happen now and then as things unfold in the world and more of the picture comes to light. There is a lot of crazy stuff going on just now, and because I'm generally strongly focused on finding basis and grounding for my view via reasoning and concrete data points, this can be destabilizing.

Which is good. That is to stay, being destabilized is not a bad thing. In reaching higher levels of cognition, there is a normal and natural dynamic of

current understanding > new information > confusion > incorporating new information to arrive at newer, more refined understanding

Here, confusion is a state of mind where new information has come in but it has not yet been collated into the existing body of information and the frame of understanding it has previously generated.

Some folks want to avoid confusion. They hate that feeling of not knowing, or of feeling out of their depth. The cognitive dissonance is too frightening for them, and they retreat.

Anyway, my new refinement of directions are:

Keeping abreast of the unfolding events in the world, but not focusing on them except in ways I can generate concrete actual change from. Tracking the information can be addictive, but unless its producing something, it can be less effective.

Working on ways I can directly contribute to the lives of people around me, to build connection and community, to prepare for the future.

Working on ways to become more self-sufficient, including: growing our own food more (learning about and exploring hydroponics), being financially more secure (transitioning out of fiat into precious metals), and health.

Renewed local action, mostly by building community especially for those that are awake but doing it tough.

I've felt listless for the last few months, as the march of the Great Awakening continues on. I feel the tensions around the planet rise and fall, and it's sometimes seductive to gaze over the precipice.

FYI, I've been in this space before: many, many times. So, it's not unexpected or unfamiliar. It's always a challenge, but with every new iteration, I feel like I get stronger, and the way becomes more sure.

Conclusion: never treat difficult internal challenges as something to be feared. As much as you can, rest in the bedrock of the ages, and act from that place with Him.

Be patient, but be relentless.
