First of all, I wish to make it clear YHWH is God and is not a "winged serpent". Not sure where you're getting that idea from.
I'm going to quote from Hebraic-Roots version Bible because it uses some of the Hebrew terms instead.
Genesis 6:1-4 (Hebraic-Roots Version)
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were fair. And they took them wives, whomsoever they chose.
3 And YHWH said: My Spirit shall not abide in man forever. For that he also is flesh; therefore shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.
4 The N’filim were on the earth in those days and also after that, when the sons of Elohim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. The same were the mighty men that were of old--the men of renown.
In the King James version, verse 2 mentions "the sons of God" instead of the sons of Elohim and verse 4 refers to "the giants" instead of the N’filim (Nephilim).
According to Genesis 6, the sons of Elohim (angels) were taking human women AKA the daughters of men and impregnating them. These women were giving birth to half angel/half human hybrids known as the N’filim or Nephilim.
Many of the Nephilim were destroyed in the Great Flood, but after the Flood, they reemerged in the land of Canaan. After their physical bodies were destroyed, their angel spirits survived. Those who study the paranormal today from a secular perspective refer to these entities as ghosts and poltergeists. In times past, they were referred to as demons.
These demonic spirits can possess those who commit and do not repent of their sins.
Once you understand these truths, the myths about the Old Testament YHWH dissolve. You realize YHWH waited until only 8 pure-bloods survived before He destroyed the planet with the Great Flood and ordered the Israelites to wipe out the genetic abominations known as the Nephilim, not fellow human beings. Satan populated the Promised Land with them as part of his plans to defeat God and prevent Him from keeping his promises. If Satan had destroyed all pure blood DNA, which was his goal, it would have been impossible for God to send the Messiah in human form as promised to Adam.
Satan's entire goal is to make God out to be a liar.
