Frankly I think a lot of people here still aren't really grasping the total scope of the plan. This isn't some one time operation then we all live happily ever after. This is the continuation of a war that has been raging in the shadows since the dawn of human civilization. What we are seeing in the world today won't end until people understand that each and every choice they make all day long contributes in some small way to that battle. The military can't sweep in and start making all those choices for everyone.

Look at it this way: The rulers of darkness are going down, that's already set in stone. The entire problem with this situation however, is that they're going to take every single person they still hold sway over with them, so we actually want to delay this as much as possible while we free as many captives as possible before shit hits the fan.
