My personal opinion: I hate to see the flow of information reduced here (even if for a good reason) but it does make sense that we want to be far more selective what we share outside of our trusted circle of frogs.

So instead of labeling and singling out shit posts, my preference is that all posts be assumed to be disinformation unless and until the author tags it in some way as verified.

So maybe, post something, do some vetting and even ask for our help if needed, but once verified, edit the post with some “[Normie Safe]” tag at the end and any notes regarding your verification process before.

And we agree not to share info with normies unless we see the “[Normie Safe]” tag at the end.

We shouldn’t become Twitter where everything needs a fact check to be shared. Just doing a better job of communicating WHAT level of fact checking we’ve done or haven’t done should be enough.

Edit: and yes my post history is tiny, I’m mostly a lurker / commentator who benefits from everyone else’s work. This is inspiration for me to step my game up here too.
