I could be wrong, but I see the monarchy being dismantled in the future. I think the Queen was the main thing holding the whole thing together.

Also, I think it will be the royal family that leads the way and first steps into a one rule order world. They have WAY too many skeletons in their closets, that certain individuals know about....they will be blackmailed and threatened into complying.
