Just because some are thinking it but no-one is gonna say it...because the flood, like much of the Bible, is a myth, and even other comments already in the thread expose how contradictory the whole thing often is.

I'm not saying there's absolutely not God, but the Bible is a collection of all kinds of stuff written by all kinds of people at many different times, and in my view should be taken far more figuratively (as in, lessons etc) than literally....

Edit: I tried to phrase things very politely but the downpoots are now coming in. Oh well... I maintain the religious component actually carries a lot of danger with it.
