Yes, the FOUNDERS inserted "fringe legal notions" all over the US Constitution. Doesn't everybody know that? Everyone knows that the "obscure provisions" in the US Constitution don't matter. Golly gee! It's not like the Founders didn't spend months writing it and rewriting it, and then doing so again. It's not like our country lived under the Articles of Confederation for almost a DECADE to figure out that it was highly flawed and needed to be amended. In fact, the amendments were so extensive they decided to throw the Articles of Confederation out and start all over with the US Constitution!

And do you really think The States goal of retaining power from the federal government, and making their own decisions, was an obscure provision? My Lord, that was almost the ENTIRE POINT of the US Constitution. It was the single biggest goal, because our Founders single greatest fear was an all powerful centralized government!

I know for certain that some of the best legal minds of the day were just flat out lazy. They were tired, folks. I mean, can we really blame them for inserting "fringe legal notions" and "obscure provisions" in at the last moment just to get the whole thing done and over with?
