Good question, they hate my politics and my wife’s father starts shit in the most toxic way he can every time I’m there.

They believe that I have poisoned my wife (their actual words) with my beliefs and these ppl do not know we back Q or that I was at the Capitol Jan. 6th. They are trust fund elitists that actually tell ppl “there is no such thing as the deep state”. They are mad as hell that we refused to go to France with them (Cannes) bc at that time France was requiring vaxxes to enter. Even to this day they call us science deniers because we refused to let our children be vaccinated.

I DO NOT bring up politics when they’re around, but they CONSTANTLY do just for the sake of pushing their values onto us and because their frustrated their daughter isn’t in lockstep with them.

They have alienated themselves from lifelong friends and family over their political beliefs and they are in capable, at this point, of having a rationale debate of ideas. Either we believe what they believe or they burn it all down.

This is going to be the first Thanksgiving that my wife’s mother has openly asked that I do not come bc “we all know how he gets”, she’s referring to my father-in-law. She didn’t say we know how I get, no, it’s him and honestly her too.

I pray regularly for God to please take the never ending thoughts I have of them hurting us away. I think God would like to see that happen, but the wounds are so deep that I struggle to release it. The only thing I’m sure about when it comes to them is that one day they are going to a heavy handed bitch slap of truth and it’s going to be crippling.
