As usual in Nevada, Clark County/Las Vegas, is where the holdup is - literally. Right out of the Harry Reid playbook. The rest of the state went red while Clark is blue. Heard people in Clark were getting two ballots in the mail. So far, Republicans are holding on to a small lead, but that could change once Clark Country knows how many extra votes they need to print up.

Also, there were other candidates running from minor parties. These always end up siphoning votes from the Republicans. So far in Nevada, those alternative parties take up almost 3% of the vote. Not a small matter in races that could end up being within a percentage point. The same thing has occurred in other states. So far I have not heard anyone talking about this.

I think there should be some research done on who is financing these alternative campaigns. They know they don't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning - so why do they run other than to spoil the vote for Republicans? A closer look at these candidates and parties would be in order to see who is footing the bill.

I am optimistically cautious about the results. But, I am not holding my breath because I have seen the Clark County fraud machine in operation too many times not to know how bad the corruption is in Vegas. Hopefully, Laxalt and others have put enough heat on the election issues from 2020 that it is going to be much harder for them to pull it off. Voters showed up in mass for a midterm. That also makes it hard for them to fake votes. They always counted on voters being MIA. I think Republicans actually did very well this election considering the Dems have had us beat hands down in organization and the ground game. My hope is in the people.

Update: As of 5:30 11/10

What is good for the goose, is good for the gander. Douglas country just came up with about 6K mail in ballots - most of which will go red. The same is happening in a couple of other counties. Like AZ, people did not mail their ballots early, but showed up on election day to the polls and turned them in. I guess they didn't trust the post office - go figure. Many of these ballots are in conservative counties and will predominantly break read. It appears that even though they are trying to cheat, NV and AZ are both trying to delay what is looking like inevitable Republican wins. Sounds like we are taking their own strategies and using it against them. : )
