"Elonomite", now what a retarded claim that is.

Re: Batteries, those are being created one way or another. This is a problem that needs to be fixed, and it was a problem before electric vehicles. The solution isn't just "don't", as just about every technology we presently have uses them in some capacity at this point.

Re: Disposal, there is no good way to dispose of them...but there is also no good way to dispose of other types of batteries either. If we can solve problem #1, we can solve problem #2.

Re: This whole conversation: This wasn't about batteries. This was about "not being able to reach 750 mile range", and "EV semis only reaching 500 miles", and my response is simply that technology will always be iterative and you have to sell technology while you iterate on it in order to continue putting funds away to research and develop more.

Every single technology in modern history is built on this capitalistic structure. Every semiconductor, every manufacturing process, even the wheel has been iterated on and sold since its creation oh so long ago.

Don't want EVs? Unfortunately, the reality is we have them. Worse, the reality is that the leftists are trying to ban normal vehicles.

For shipping to remain plausible, the market rises to meet demand.

A lot of shipments come through California, and if they follow through with their ban of diesel powered vehicles the country requires some form of shipping transportation, at least in California.

These problems and my answers do not have anything to do with Elon except he has innovated and progressed EVs more than anyone else in the space and is the front runner for the solution to the problem.

If you want to slap on some foil and talk about how he is getting to 500 mile range at roughly the same time as this diesel ban is happening, that's one thing.

But saying someone is an "Elonomite" for stating an undeniable fact (technology is iterative and needs to be sold as it is developed to further iterate upon it) is just silly.
