There is no GOP - it is all uniparty. And what part of the military is going to organize and give the orders considering most of the command structure is now populated with woke political hacks?

The situation in Brazil is different because they have large sections of their military and law enforcement command structure that are still solidly Brazilian constitutionalists. They have not yet been purged like our military and I am sure they realize that if they do not act now, the Lula government going forward will have their necks on the chopping block. In addition, their military will act because millions of Brazilian citizens have taken to the streets despite sections of their government threatening them with sanctions and persecution. The people have DEMANDED that their military intervene. Has that happened here? No, it has not. In the US, military intervention is still only wishful thinking and in Canada, it is not even on the radar.

Jan 6 and the Canada trucker protest persecutions were designed to make Americans and Canadians think twice about the kind of pushback that is being demonstrated by Brazilians. Most Brazilians are at the point where they have almost nothing left to lose - so they are willing to put it all on the line not to go the way of their communist neighbors. I do not honestly think most Americans and Canadians are in that place. We have not been pushed to that extreme where we are willing to give up everything in order to push back because we are still relatively comfortable in our lives. I am afraid that when we are finally pushed to that point, there will be no military left that will be on our side - and that is by design.

Without clear visible support from the people, why should the military intervene? The military will not act without the people acting first. Only then will we know whether the military is on the side of the people, or whether they have been completely taken over and are part of the tyranny. This is not dooming - it is a hard dose of reality.
