Your story is an echo of mine. Everyone gave up and went to sleep (election night), or bought into the fear (covid), or buried their heads in the sand (literally everything else). But I stayed awake and watched, I researched things, when people were about to crack open with the weight of the fear they were carrying around, they saw me stand like a rock with nary a care.

They are moths to a flame. Gotta be that flame. I don't know what I'm going to say when they ask "what's happening" - I will open my mouth and will let God decide what comes out at that point. I hope I don't go full snark and say, "I spent years researching so you don't have to - but I'm going to make you go do your part now and research also, otherwise you're just not going to believe anything I say."
