I've literally learned how to build computers from raw materials. You are the one who is dangerously ignorant of how insecure the digital world is. If the push to digitize society is successful, everyone will be thrall to whoever/whatever builds the physical machines, and we will be finished as a species. And then it's going to collapse upon itself anyways, because that's a completely unmaintainable situation.
