No, I still think you're the one not understanding the situation. Everything that gets put on a computer connected to the Internet is fundamentally insecure (hackers have even found ways into systems that AREN'T connected in some rare cases). You would be correct that I don't know much about crypto specifically, because I know enough about the platforms that crypto is built upon to understand what an insane idea it is. You would need to somehow invent a secure computer before it was even worth considering something like crypto, and I'm really not sure if that's even possible in the current environment.
