Most pedos are homosexuals

Where are you getting your info on this? Or did you just decide that on your own?

You might try volunteering or getting a job working with one of the various organizations working to help child sex abuse survivors and those working to stop the abuse from happening in the future.

You'd see very quickly that the majority of child sex predators are either family members or close family friends of the victim, almost exclusively of the opposite sex. And girls are abused at a rate of about 1 in 5 while boys are abused at a rate of about 1 in 12.

So this means it's usually heterosexual men who are related to or family friends with the victims that are pedophiles.

But people don't like thinking about their family or friends being capable of such horrible things. It's much easier to put all those fears onto people who are strangers and who have lifestyles so far from our own.

Which is one big reason why we still have so many cases of child sex abuse. We're usually looking in the wrong direction. It's too scary and real to focus on those closest to us.

This is something that really bothers me to see in a community that (supposedly) is so dedicated to ending child sex abuse. You'd think they would know the basic statistics on it.

It makes a lot of headlines when gay males abuse their adopted sons. It's a horrible thing that should never happen.

But why doesn't it make so many headlines when little girls are abused by their dads or uncles or brothers, etc? Biological or adopted? That happens so much more often than when adopted gay parents abuse their son.

Is it socially more acceptable for girls to be abused? Is it worse for boys to be abused than for girls to be abused? Because that's the message that is being sent.

If people got as outraged at all sex abuse as they do when the rapists are gay men, maybe we could finally put a stop to some of these rapists.
