As humans, living in a finite physical world, we have a hard time grasping the concept of infinity. We tend to think of it as a 'really large number'. But that is not the case.

The zealots who worship at the altar of 'Scientism' use this 'difficulty with infinity' to fool us. They say things like 'in an infinite universe with an infinite amount of time, all things must happen'. This is true, but intentionally misleading.

Those who lie to us count on you thinking that 'a large number equals infinity', therefore (because 'everything must happen') you don't have to look for an actual mechanism for the origin of life.

But (even if the universe is infinitely large), it has not been around for an infinite amount of time. 'Only' about 14 billion years or so. Therefore, it is false to say that 'all things must have happened'. If you've only had a finite amount of time, you can simply calculate the probability of life coming about 'randomly'. And that probability is vanishingly small. Infinitely small. In fact, by scientific standards, it's zero.

...and don't get me started on Hubble and what 'scientists' mockingly called the Big Bang.

Nearly everything about 'Scientism' is geared towards removing faith in God. They often use the confusion about infinity to do it.

I prefer to seek Truth.

Thanks simon, I look forward to further installments.
