- I always secure erase any disk when first taken into usage with one pass 0.
- use of encrypted storage. When choosing a password, randomness is key. I use KeepassXSC to encrypt HDD/SSD's. It helps with the agnosticism.
- I use ZuluCrypt to encrypt mobile storage devices and, I should add, to create and mount encrypted files on your already encrypted SSD/HDD.
